Maggie's Getting Married is a warm, witty romantic comedy by acclaimed Canadian playwright Norm Foster. It follows the Duncan family on the chaotic eve of daughter Maggie's wedding. Tensions erupt when Maggie's extroverted older sister, Wanda, returns home and reveals she knows the groom a little too well. Set on the evening before the wedding, the story follows Maggie, a young woman preparing to marry the man of her dreams. As her family gathers for the wedding, what should be a joyful and straightforward celebration quickly becomes complicated. Long-held tensions, unexpected revelations and clashing personalities surface, turning the lead-up to the ceremony into a series of hilarious and touching encounters.
